Abstract
Objective: The goal of this study was analyzing Iranians military athletes in universal military games (CISM).
Methodology: this is an applied study by the goal, descriptive by the essence and past oriented study. Data were gathered from library method. Statistic population of the study includes 6 summer military games, two winter games, two cadet games and international sport games. Statistical sample was equal to population. Data were gathered from CISM website and reports, games websites and CISM book. Descriptive analysis was used for analyzing data.
Results: Iran has had its best rank in 2011 games. According to the amount of medals and 2015 games was Iran's the best performance. Iran's performance process wasn’t stable and has had ups and downs. According to medal worth Iran is standing in the fourth rank of Asia. Also according to the amount of medals Iran stays among the 15 the best performances in the world.
Conclusion: Iran’s results in summer games are acceptable but in winter games they are not good. Eventually Iranian athletes have got good results in CISM world games such as taekwondo wrestling and volleyball.
